Conference Registration Fees, Continuing Education Credits, and Related Information
Conference Registration Fee: $225
Includes lunch and evening reception and dinner on August 14, breakfast and lunch on August 15.
Pre-conference and Post-conference Registration Fee: No Fee
Participants in the pre-conference and/or post-conference sessions are required to be registered for the Conference and remit the Conference registration fee of $225 (in full).
POST Credit: $25
This fee enables law enforcement officers to receive POST credit for pre-conference, Conference, and post-conference sessions for which POST credit will be awarded. The POST credit will be transcripted by the Missouri Sheriffs' Association in cooperation with the Missouri School Boards' Association.
The pre-conference session will enable law enforcement officers to earn four (4) hours of POST credit; the post-conference session will enable law enforcement officers to earn an additional four (4) hours of POST credit; fifteen and one-half (15.5) hours of POST credit will be offered during Conference sessions; law enforcement officers can earn a maximum of twelve (12) hours from Conference sessions. Law enforcement officers can earn a maximum of twenty (20) POST credit hours from pre- and post-conference events together with conference sessions.
CBM Credit: No Fee
School board members attending the Conference will receive four (4) credits that can be used toward the Advanced or Masters Levels of the Certified Board Member (CBM) Program of the Missouri School Boards' Association.
Resource CD about School Gangs: No Fee
The first five hundred (500) persons to register for the Conference will be provided a (complimentary) informational resource about school gangs. The resource will be on compact disc (CD). The resource was developed by Gang Awareness Training Education (G.A.T.E.), Bartlett, Illinois, and is made available to Conference registrants from funding provided by the Missouri Department of Public Safety and Office of Homeland Security.
LTC Dave Grossman Presentation on DVD: $25 plus P/H
In response to requests, Conference registrants will have the opportunity to order copies of the presentation to be given by LTC Dave Grossman on August 14. The full presentation (four hours) will be provided on DVD. The cost will be $25 plus $5 postage and handling.
Orders for the presentation will be taken on August 14 and August 15. Delivery will be made in six to eight weeks following the Conference.
